Price Increases:
The price of a La Vina subscription will go up to $9 per year and $2 per issue, effective January 1, 2007. This is La Vina's first cover price increase in its ten year existence. The new cover price for the Grapevine will also be $2.00. This is the first cover price increase in ten years (the cover price was not increased in 2002 when $3.00 was added to the subscription price.) Because the Grapevine and La Vina do not receive group contributions or revenue from ads, they have to raise prices every few years to defray rising expenses. Discounts for bulk orders will still be available.
